We are a dynamic, fast-paced team seeking a motivated Licensed Leasing Agent to join our team. This is a commission-based position with immediate access to qualified leads , offering you the opportunity to earn from day one. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent specializing specifically in the South Side of Chicago. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining positive relationships with potential and current tenants. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen understanding of property management, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Duties * Show and lease residential properties exclusively on Chicago's South Side * Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process * Conduct in-office duties including consultations, client meetings, and paperwork * Manage a high volume of property showings and client interactions * Follow up on leads to meet and exceed leasing goals * Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless leasing operations * Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits of available units. * Assist in the preparation of lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately. * Maintain knowledge of local real estate market trends to effectively communicate with clients and provide relevant information. * Handle inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. * Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively, utilizing conflict management skills when necessary. * Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and any issues are resolved quickly. * Support the sales process by promoting available properties through various channels, including social media and community events. * Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property details using customer relationship management software. * Perform administrative tasks related to property management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Requirements * Active Illinois Real Estate License (Required) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Proven negotiation and closing abilities * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment * Proven experience in customer service or sales roles; experience in real estate or property management is preferred. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in phone etiquette is essential. * Knowledge of property maintenance practices and basic contract understanding is a plus. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Familiarity with Chicago's South Side neighborhoods and rental trends * Tech-savvy; experience using CRM systems and digital real estate tools * Previous experience in leasing or real estate preferred * A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients and tenants alike.
