We want everyone to go home in the same condition in which they came to work that day. * What Does an Contractor SalesRepresentativeDo? * * Customer Relationship & Service: * Develop and nurture partnerships and maintain existing relationships with customers * Maintain a consistently pleasant, customer service-oriented image when interacting with customers * Partner with customers to help them select the right products and communicate information about new trends, product releases, promotions, and purchase delivery dates * Sales & Prospecting: * Qualify prospects within the assigned sales area, building a consistent pipeline of potential clients * Negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales deals * Execute sales plans with guidance and support from the store manager * Product Knowledge & Assistance: * Maintain up-to-date technical and product knowledge to efficiently assist customers * Work with blueprints to estimate orders and product needs * Order Management & Processing: * Prepare and input orders accurately and efficiently * Assist with accounts receivable collections as needed * Inventory & Store Management: * Work with the store manager to oversee inventory management and merchandising * Assist the store manager with exterior and interior store maintenance * Ensure vehicles are maintained and inspected, if applicable * Administrative Support: * Support the store manager with bookkeeping responsibilities, as requested * Additional Duties: * Be prepared to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required * What Does It Take to Be Successful as an Contractor Sales Representative? * High school diploma or equivalent required, some college in business preferred * 3+ years sales experience in the Building Materials Industry * Ability and willingness to travel frequently to various job sites and to meet with customers and contractors within the assigned region and potentially farther as required for business needs * Must have a valid driver's license * Experience in feed products and processes * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally * Results-oriented with the ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible * Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
