There will be only one person hired for this position Compensation : Commission-based | $250,000 to $500,000/year (Performance-Based) Type : Full-Time | 1099 Contractor | Commission Only About the Role DirectSolar Co. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Recruiting to lead our solar expansion across Virginia. What You 'll Do * Recruit & Train Talent * Source top-performing sales professionals and field marketers using platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor. * Conduct interviews, onboard new hires, and lead training programs to ensure success. * Lead Sales Efforts * Drive personal sales and support your team in hitting and exceeding sales targets. * Join your team in the field to provide hands-on coaching and mentorship. * Develop High-Performing Teams * Build and manage a strong team culture. * Offer ongoing support, leadership, and development opportunities. * Grow Your Market * Establish a strong local presence in your territory. * Build relationships with clients and partners to expand your reach. What We 're Looking For * Proven Leadership: Experience leading sales teams or managing recruitment efforts. * Sales Drive: Must be self-motivated and results-oriented--this is a commission-only role. * Recruitment Skills: Skilled in attracting top talent through online platforms and creative strategies. * Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for motivating teams. * Solar Experience (Preferred): Experience in solar or renewable energy is a plus, but not required.
