Full description of the position

The leasing consultant demonstrates features and leases apartment homes to prospective residents. Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualification. Accompany prospects to apartment homes; discusses size and layout of rooms; and discuss available facilities, such as swimming pool, Jacuzzi, location of schools, retail shopping, and services available to residents and terms and conditions of lease contract. Assists prospect in completing application for rental, prepares lease forms and other necessary paperwork as well as collects the rental deposit, application fee and screen prospect. May inspect condition of premises and arrange for necessary maintenance. May compile listings of available rental property. The leasing Consultant's objective is to effectively follow the leasing and marketing program within the companies guidelines and operating objective. To follow companies qualifying standards for residency, and to assist with resident programs and retention. Onesite software knowledge is a plus. Applicant must be able to pass drug test and back ground check.
