We are currently seeking a highly skilled property manager to join our team and oversee the maintenance and management of a 175-unit apartment community. The primary focus of this role is to ensure tenant satisfaction and work with the company to keep costs down. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing marketing and advertising efforts, and ensuring compliance with local and federal laws. We are looking for a team player with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, who can engage effectively with tenants, property owners, and maintenance staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive, driven, and passionate about elevating the property to new heights. The property manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, overseeing property staff, managing rent collections, implementing procedures for delinquent accounts, processing applications, and monitoring expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets. They will also handle petty cash accounts, contribute to property strategic planning, generate reports, issue purchase orders, manage accounts payable, coordinate apartment make-ready procedures, and maintain positive relationships with agencies, owners, and public officials. Additionally, the property manager will be responsible for marketing and leasing the property in compliance with company policies and applicable laws, including developing targeted marketing programs, monitoring market trends, identifying advertising needs, and crafting compelling advertising copy for various media outlets.
