Full description of the position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Specialist to oversee and perform day to day maintenance and repair operations of our company's facilities, equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure our properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and needed repairs in order to maintain properties in a first class manner. Conduct repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general building maintenance. Experience with patching and basic repairs of TPO roofs is of significant benefit. Be familiar with painting interior and exterior spaces. Oversee and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruptions to operations. Maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory of supplies. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and manage inventory of maintenance supplies. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules. Provide support for facility improvement projects and renovations as needed. QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in a related field preferred. - Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Employee must have own transportation. - Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing and working in various conditions.
