About Diversified Waste Solutions (DWS): DWS is a national consulting firm specializing in outsourced waste management for commercial, residential, and manufacturing enterprises. We design and manage tailored waste solutions to minimize costs, maximize operational efficiency, divert waste from landfills, and enhance recycling efforts. We are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Sales Executive who thrives on creating opportunities, solving problems, and delivering measurable ROI for clients. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, connect with prospects, and drive business growth. Primary Role * Develop and execute action plans to achieve new sales objectives. * Master the DWS value proposition and support methodology. * Identify prospects, craft tailored proposals, and close new business opportunities. * Serve as a trusted consultant, delivering customized solutions to clients' waste management needs. Key Responsibilities Business Development: * Identify and understand client requirements, including service coverage, vendor challenges, and process inefficiencies. * Penetrate prospect/client organizations, develop key contacts, and map decision-making processes. * Analyze DWS clients, competitors' strengths/weaknesses, and industry price points. * Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive consistent revenue growth. Contract Knowledge: * Master the critical differentiators in contract terms and conditions across DWS, haulers, vendors, and competitors. * Review assigned contracts to identify immediate opportunities for action. * Provide actionable insights to propose the best solutions for clients. Vendor Management: * Develop knowledge of industry vendors and their strengths/weaknesses. * Build relationships and set clear expectations with key vendors. Pricing & Customer Service: * Learn and monitor industry price points and service practices. * Support ongoing customer satisfaction to ensure quality service delivery. * Assist in resolving service issues to maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor's degree preferred. * Minimum 5 years of solution selling experience: Discovery | Diagnosis | Design | Proposal. * Proven ability to identify opportunities, close sales, and exceed revenue goals. * Excellent networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. * Energetic, self-directed, and results-driven. * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities. * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook). * Familiarity with the waste management industry is a plus (sales, customer service, or field experience).
