We're seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong consulting mindset and a strategic, hands-on approach to growth. This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and client success. You should be passionate about building lasting relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving value across the full business development cycle. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the technology services and consulting space * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, from C-level to technical decision-makers * Understand client pain points and translate them into tailored solutions leveraging Intersog's capabilities * Collaborate with marketing to align go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and lead-generation efforts * Shape proposals, pitch presentations, and commercial terms in alignment with client needs and market standards * Oversee transition from opportunity to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term success * Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position Intersog for continued growth * Support and expand existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling initiatives. Who You Are: * A natural networker with a strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills * Must have experience in business development, account management, or consulting within the tech or IT services sector * Comfortable speaking both business and tech--able to translate between client needs and delivery teams * Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while being hands-on when needed * Knowledgeable about how modern tech companies operate (cloud, software engineering, digital transformation) * Familiar with best practices in sales pipelines, relationship-based selling, and enterprise service delivery * Curious, adaptable, and driven by long-term success rather than short-term wins Requirements: * 5-10 years of experience in business development, consulting, or client-facing roles in tech services * Proven success in closing mid-to-large scale service contracts or digital transformation projects * Strong understanding of marketing and business strategy within a technology context * Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field (MBA is a plus) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: * Commission pay Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60607
