Job Title: Sales Representative - Direct Mail Marketing (EDDM Postcards) Location: Las Vegas, NV (Local candidates preferred) About Us: Business on a Hill is a brand new business, and we're trying to change the game. We're shaking up local advertising with our innovative direct mail marketing solutions. Our signature 9x12 EDDM postcards reach thousands of homes, delivering real results for local businesses. We're a passionate, creative team with big ideas--and we're looking to add another high-caliber player to our roster. Role Overview: We're not looking for someone to simply fill a seat--we need a killer salesperson. If you're driven, a self-starter, a go-getter, and basically a wolf in the field who makes things happen rather than waiting around, this is the role for you. You'll be connecting with local business owners, showcasing the unique value of our ad slots (from Mini to Backside), and closing deals that propel both our clients and our business to the next level. Key Responsibilities: * Prospecting & Lead Generation: * Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals. Get creative and use your network and relentless drive to connect with local business owners through events, cold calling, and digital outreach. * Consultative Sales: Get in the trenches with clients, understand their needs, and show them how our direct mail solutions can transform their business. Bring your best stories, data, and confidence to every pitch. * Presentation & Objection Handling: Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge. Use this knowledge to tackle objections head-on with genuine insights and real success examples. You know your stuff and aren't afraid to prove it. Qualifications: * A proven track record in sales, preferably in direct mail, local advertising, or a related field. * Deep knowledge of the Las Vegas market with established local connections. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * A natural, consultative approach with minimal hand-holding is needed--you're the kind of salesperson who just gets it. * Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to manage your pipeline. * Self-motivated, relentless, and ready to hit the ground running from day one. Skills * Proven experience in B2B sales and marketing. * Proficiency in CRM tools for effective lead tracking and customer management. * Strong analytical skills to assess market data and drive strategic decisions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade at all levels. * Experience in upselling techniques to maximize revenue from existing accounts. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on results-oriented outcomes. Compensation & Incentives: * The low base pay is compensated by this being a base + commission role.
