We are seeking a motivated, personable and detail-oriented Door and Cabinet Hardware sales associate to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about design and home improvement, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a client-facing retail environment. Responsibilities: * Cheerfully greet and assist incoming customers with selecting the proper door and cabinet hardware for their needs. * Provide expert advice on product features, finishes, and installation options (previous experience or interest in the hardware field is ideal but we will also teach you) * Process sales transactions using our point-of-sale system * Pick up sales calls and provide follow up customer service assistance to customers such as estimated time of arrival for orders, and tracking numbers * Handle customer inquiries and resolve complains with professionalism Qualifications: * Knowledge of door and cabinet hardware (or a willingness to learn) * Previous experience in a retail sales environment (preferred not required) * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Basic computer skills for operating the sales system * Works well in a team environment * Enjoys helping people with a sociable positive attitude * Enthusiasm for home improvement and design!
