The Company: The Building Group has been a leader in residential property management for over 30-years, providing management services to nearly 15,000 residential units throughout Chicagoland. Our company is growing and seeks qualified candidates with experience in delivering exemplary management services. Assistant Property Manager Position: The Assistant Property Manager serves an essential role in providing assistance to a property manager. The position requires exceptional customer service and organizational skills. Specific responsibilities include: * Responding to email messages from residents * Processing standard form requests (auto-debit, owner info) * Managing all move related items (scheduling and collecting/returning move deposits) * Amenity space bookings * General communication to maintenance staff concerning work orders * Maintain owner/resident information, leases, and other relevant data * Arrange unit entry and schedule service on a regular and emergency basis * Schedule/follow up on maintenance requests * Maintain data and information relevant to corporates filings, city permits, and all documents relevant to the property. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will demonstrate tremendous customer service and organizational skills, with a meaningful interest in the management of real condominium associations. Job Qualifications: * High School Diploma * Some College * Organizational and writing skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Experience with Condominium Associations is strongly preferred * Real Estate / Property Experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
