Essential Functions: * Create and maintain relationships with existing customers in order to maintain, develop and grow within current accounts. * Research and analyze market data in assigned territory to determine new customers and develop a strategy to create new business. * Develop relationships with supplier partners to enhance product knowledge and solution services. * Effectively communicate benefits and advantages of Haggard & Stocking safety product lines. * Proactively set daily schedule of sales appointments to visit customer locations to ensure contact with plant managers, safety managers and purchasing agents. * Prepare and present solutions based on customer needs. * Maintain clear lines of communication with all internal departments; sales, customer service, accounting, warehouse. * Submit weekly call and expense reports. * Other tasks that are reasonably related to the position and are of an incidental nature may be assigned. Skills and Requirements * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent sales and customer service skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, * Self-discipline and drive is essential.
