Internal Deadline: 2/28/2025 POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for marketing and selling the Banks Treasury management suite of products to existing and new commercial customers, as well as developing new commercial deposit relationships. This position will serve as a point of contact for commercial relationships to ensure any deposit or treasury-related issues are addressed in a professional and responsive manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Works closely with commercial lenders, coordinating calling efforts to ensure commercial deposit accounts are gathered and treasury management products are offered to new and existing commercial loan customers. 2. Solicits, establishes and maintains new commercial banking relationships for the bank with a focus on treasury management products and deposit growth. 3. Creates and delivers sales presentations, explains services offered, and makes recommendations based on client needs. 4. Works independently to identify existing customer needs and collaborates with relationship officers on cross-sell opportunities within designated market(s). 5. Meets or exceeds defined annual/monthly sales calls, product sales and revenue production quotas. 6. Calls on prospective customers individually or jointly with relationship officer in order to develop new treasury management relationships. 7. Prepares documentation and collaborates with treasury support services to ensure new services are implemented correctly and timely and that any customer issues are addressed in a professional and responsive manner. 8. Coordinates service support for resolution of customer problems with depository/treasury management services; communicates resolutions to customers. 9. Ability to serve and support a large metropolitan market with flexibility and ability to travel in assigned region. 10. Provides assistance to level 1 sales staff with presentations/solutions for complex business entities when needed. 11. Entertains clients at networking events, lunches, dinners or other events as needed, which may require after hours attendance. 12. Provides training and continuing education to lenders and retail branch staff to ensure they are current on treasury management products. 13. Tracks all sales related activities through the banks CRM system; provides additional reports as requested by manager. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years of treasury sales or equivalent work experience required Flexibility to travel as needed EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING: BS/BA degree in Business or Finance required or business experience equivalent Certified Cash Management (CCM)/Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: * Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. * Excellent business development skills with knowledge of selling and closing techniques. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents. * Ability to establish and fulfill customer commitments in a timely manner. * Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when utilizing the various systems and reporting tools. * Ability to work effectively both as team player and individual contributor. * Strong customer service skills. Must be sensitive to client needs and support their requirements. * Must have high analytical and technical skills and the ability to resolve problems effectively and proficiently. * Proficient in applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. WORKING CONDITIONS Individuals in this position must be able to perform essential functions and physical demands within these documented working conditions with or without reasonable accommodation: This position is in an office environment within a climate-controlled facility that can be high-traffic during peak service times. There is frequent use of the telephone, computer and other office equipment associated with this position, as well as a large amount of face-to-face interaction with customers. Reps have a personal desk however, this position will require driving to different locations at times which will result in some tasks being performed in venues (internal and/or external of the Bank) other than the assigned office. The individual responsible for this role must be able to perform job functions with indirect supervision and work effectively as a member of a team or independently. The individual must be capable of working harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers, staff, and both internal and external customers. This position requires regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours.
