HUD Assistant Property Manager The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for going above and beyond to accommodate our residents. This person will have excellent sales and communication skills and demonstrate first-class service to our residents and staff. Our Assistant Property Manager will support the community in many ways. The position will assist two apartment communities undergoing renovation. The Assistant Property Manager shall have proven knowledge in HUD housing, accounts payable and accounts receivable, along with ability to manage, multitask and work under timelines. A detail- oriented person accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment is ideal. Responsibilities and Characteristics Include: * HUD recertifications and other HUD paperwork * Assist with management of operations including resident relations and maintenance organization. * Inspect apartments and exterior grounds. * Ensure all required reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner. * Identify deficiencies and implement corrective action plans with a balance of fiscal responsibility and customer satisfaction. * Responsible for risk management, safety standards and employee and resident liability. * Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards at the community, complying with company's policies and procedures. * Fulfill mandatory training requirements applicable for department and job duties as appropriate. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by supervisor or Management. * Comprehensive understanding of regional laws pertaining to all aspects of property management * Goal oriented.
