Full description of the position

SUMMARY: The Health Benefits Account Coordinator will provide underwriting coordination for our health benefit captives including reviewing submissions for accuracy and forward to supporting providers, developing proposals, tracking new business, and working closely with teams, vendors, carriers on the captive's premium and financials. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, equivalent job experience and/or at least two (2) years of experience in health benefits. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS: * Positive team attitude * Works well independently and in a team environment * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal communication * Expertise in Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel * Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines and service level agreements * Emphasis on organization, planning, and prioritization skills * Strong customer service focus * Attention to detail * Ability to problem solve and use judgement skills * Commitment to company values ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review, prepare and submit documentation to underwrite new and renewal business * Accountable for creation and preparation of proposals * Data entry in company systems * Support a program management team supporting multiple captives * Provide excellent customer service to members and a variety of service providers * Assist in the preparation of captive documents * Proactively initiate tasks as assigned or as needed to support the team * Generate reporting as needed to support daily work PRIORITIES:** Strong organizational skills, Accuracy, Detail Oriented, Timeliness, Multi-tasking, Broker-Service Provider-Client Relationships, Positive Team Attitude Education Preferred * Bachelors or better Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
