About Smartfruit Smartfruit is a natural fruit-based beverage manufacturer and distributor that services the food service and hospitality industries. Our dedication to clean- label ingredients and innovation has made us a trusted name in the food and beverage industry. We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales department, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing team. Role Overview The Sales Director will be responsible for the development and leadership of our sales team, optimizing processes, and driving revenue growth across domestic and international markets. This role is designed for a data-driven, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of sales cycles, CRM systems, and business development strategies. This individual will oversee sales planning, KPI tracking, trade show coordination, and client relationship management, ensuring that Smartfruit achieves and surpasses its revenue targets. Key Responsibilities * Define clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and ensure continuous performance monitoring. * Conduct weekly sales team meetings to align on goals, share insights, and optimize sales efforts. * Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including wholesale, distributor, and retail accounts. * Strengthen relationships with major clients, providing quarterly outreach, sales support materials, and promotional incentives. * Implement and refine lead acquisition strategies using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and other data-driven tools. * Oversee and analyze all Salesforce activity, ensuring accurate data tracking on lead conversions, lost leads, sales performance, and customer retention/attrition. * Work with our salesforce implementation partner to continue to optimize CRM software. * Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large data sets to identify trends and drive data-informed decision making. * Coaching, training, leading and motivating the sales team to achieve their targets and objectives by setting clear goals, providing direction, and helping them improve their sales skills. * Generating sales reports and presentations, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. * Oversee trade show participation, including identifying strategic opportunities, ensuring proper preparation, and maximizing event ROI. *Qualifications & Requirements * Proven experience as a sales team director/manager or in a similar leadership role within a sales-driven organization. * Strong background in CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and data-driven sales management. * Food & beverage industry experience strongly preferred but not mandatory. * Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, develop strategic sales plans, and optimize sales processes. * Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills. * Ability to travel to trade shows, and key client meetings as required. * Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
