We are looking for an experienced Leasing Professional to join our team. Your primary focus will be to build rapport with prospective residents to secure new residents as well as create relationships with current residents to keep retention rates high. Responsibilities * Present townhomes to prospective residents and market the home in a persuasive manner * Screen, review, and approve resident applications based on fair housing standards * Utilize marketing sites such as Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and Apartments.com to advertise and promote available units * Develop knowledge of the community and the surrounding area to understand the competitors as well as the features that should attract prospects to the community * Walk ready vacant units to ensure that it is presentable and attractive to a prospective resident, assess the curb appeal on the tour path to/from vacant units * Take maintenance requests as needed and follow-up on resident satisfaction upon completion of the requests * Follow-up on resident renewals to maintain the resident retention Skills * Proven working experience as a leasing consultant * Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations * Proven track record of successful sales * Basic understanding of MS Office * Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques * Customer-focused approach Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * Customer service: 2 years (Preferred) * Property leasing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Halethorpe, MD 21227: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
