Cargo Shark is a recently established freight brokerage. We're seeking a creative, dynamic, and passionate individual with previous experience in logistics. You will work alongside a small team of Business Development Representatives. You will bring your own book of business, build productive relationships with clients, carriers, etc, and achieve all company goals. Bringing your own book of customers is a must 1+ year of experience in logistics preferred Full-time Salary range: $52.000 - $520.000 plus commission Responsibilities: * Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and building rapport with clients * Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs * Arrange business meetings with prospective clients * Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives * Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines * Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support * Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers * Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople phone and networking Comfortable using phone call interaction with industry professionals Initiate contact with potential customers and carriers at any levels Managing time effectively to achieve daily and monthly goals Negotiating rates to achieve commission goals Qualifications: * Working experience in a business development representative, sales, or a relevant role * Experience in customer support is a plus or Book of Business * MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Zoom Info, Salesforce) * Proficiency in English, bilingual is a plus * Market knowledge * Communication and negotiation skills * Ability to build rapport * Time management and planning skills * Multi-task and detail-oriented More info and benefits: 8-hour shift, option for later Monday to Friday Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * Paid vacation * No after-hours Flexibility - Emphasis on a strong work-life balance * Unlimited growth opportunities - Extensive career advancement opportunities to support your professional goals led by over 170 instructor and/or self-led courses 10825 Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 [please apply online] 708-[please apply online]
