Role Overview: We seek a licensed Real Estate Broker to serve as our property management company's Designated Broker of Record. This individual will hold the broker's license under which the company operates, ensuring legal compliance with all state real estate and property management regulations. This is a part-time or contractual position with flexible involvement, ideal for an experienced broker seeking steady supplemental income and limited day-to-day responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain an active real estate broker license in Nebraska. * Serves as the designated broker on file with the state real estate commission and any applicable regulatory agencies. * Review and sign off on required documentation (as needed) to ensure compliance with licensing laws and ethical standards. * Advise on state regulations regarding leasing, property management, and real estate transactions. * Support the company in remaining compliant with brokerage laws, audits, and renewal filings. * Optional assistance with the oversight of licensed staff (depending on involvement). Qualifications: * Active and valid real estate broker's license in the state of Nebraska. * Good standing with the state real estate commission; no active disciplinary actions. * Strong knowledge of real estate and property management compliance requirements. * Prior experience as a designated broker or broker of record preferred but not required. * Detail-oriented, ethical, and reliable. Compensation & Terms: * Monthly stipend or flat annual fee for holding broker license on file. * Additional compensation is negotiable for increased involvement or consulting. * Flexible, remote-friendly role with minimal time commitment.
