Position Overview: As the Director of Sales at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Lansing, MI, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts, developing and executing strategies to drive revenue, and creating lasting relationships with corporate clients, group bookings, and event planners. You will play a critical role in promoting our hotel as the premier choice for both business and leisure travelers. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals. * Lead, coach, and mentor team to maximize their potential and performance. * Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and travel agencies. * Oversee sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and advertising campaigns. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the hospitality industry. * Proven leadership experience with a strong ability to motivate and manage a team. * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. * Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management software. * Familiarity with the Lansing, MI, market and its business landscape is a plus.
