Our vision is built on flexibility, strategic growth, and a unified client experience across all platforms. * Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales & Expansion Manager with a solid background in franchising to drive new business, nurture existing accounts, and spearhead expansion initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic outcomes. Your insights and expertise will be crucial to our continued success as a profitable lifestyle business. Please note that this role involves significant travel (approximately 20-30% of your time), including attendance at franchise trade shows and client visits. * Key Responsibilities: * New Business Development: * Prospect and secure new clients with a focus on franchisors and related industries. * Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Hello Mainland's vision and revenue goals. * Account Management & Client Retention: * Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities. * Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing timely support and strategic insights. * Expansion Strategy: * Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify expansion opportunities and service enhancements. * Collaborate with internal teams (PR specialists, content creators, and digital marketers) to implement cross-platform strategies that drive client outcomes. * Customer Outcome Focus: * Align sales efforts with our customer outcome approach, ensuring that all initiatives contribute to franchise brand authority, lead generation, and strategic development. * Track and report on outcome metrics, ensuring consistent service delivery and high client satisfaction. * Market Research & Reporting: * Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and franchising best practices. * Provide regular performance reports and market insights to inform strategic decision-making. * Travel & Client Engagement: * Engage in regular travel (approximately 20-30% of your time) to attend franchise trade shows, conferences, and on-site client visits. * Leverage face-to-face interactions to deepen client relationships and capture market insights. * Compensation & Incentives: * Base Salary: A competitive base salary in the range of $60,000-$80,000 annually (depending on experience). * Commission & Incentives: * A commission of approximately 10-15% on net new revenue generated through sales. * Additional performance-based bonuses, such as quarterly incentives for exceeding revenue or expansion targets. * Team-based or account expansion incentives that reward upselling and long-term client retention. * Total Target Compensation: * With strong performance, the total annual compensation (base plus commission/incentives) could realistically reach between $100,000-$140,000 or more, directly aligning your success with Hello Mainland's growth. * Benefits: * 75% coverage of a high-quality national PPO insurance plan * 401(k) matching: 100% of the first 1%, plus 50% of the next 5% * Unlimited PTO after 90 days of employment * Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the franchising sector. * Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and achieving revenue targets. * Strong understanding of franchising dynamics, lifestyle business models, and the challenges unique to franchise-based industries. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. * Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM software is a plus. * Additional Skills & Attributes: * Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. * Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes for both clients and the business. * High level of initiative, adaptability, and a passion for innovation in client services. * Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment between sales, marketing, and operational teams. * Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 20-30%) to represent Hello Mainland at industry events and client meetings. * What We Offer: * A dynamic and collaborative work environment where your contributions directly impact business growth. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * A competitive, performance-driven compensation package that rewards both individual and team success. * A role that offers significant travel opportunities to engage with key industry events and client bases. * A chance to be part of a forward-thinking company committed to excellence in franchising and client outcomes.
