In this role, you will play a key part in driving our sales efforts by building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities : * Sales and Business Development * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. * Develop customized solutions to meet client needs while promoting our product portfolio. * Customer Relationship Management * Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge, support, and assistance. * Regularly visit customer sites to assess their needs and ensure satisfaction. * Resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. * Market Analysis * Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. * Provide feedback and recommendations to management to refine sales strategies. * Order Management and Follow-Up * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products. * Monitor order status, resolve discrepancies, and communicate updates to customers. * Meet or exceed sales quotas and other performance metrics. * Reporting and Documentation * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using Famous software. * Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts. Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the wholesale produce or foodservice industry. * Strong understanding of fresh produce and its distribution channels. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Proficiency in using Famous. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills * Knowledge of the local market and key players in the industry. * Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Physical Requirements * Ability to travel within the assigned territory frequently. * Capacity to lift and move boxes of produce if necessary.
