Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to connect with customers. This role involves engaging with customers in the construction environment, utilizing effective phone etiquette, and demonstrating exceptional sales skills to drive revenue through upselling and promoting products. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. * Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with clients and follow up on inquiries. * Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. * Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits that align with customer needs. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions, including cash handling. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in achieving sales goals. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product offerings, and store policies to assist customers effectively. * Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions and inventory management. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not required. * Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell products effectively. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with customers both in-person and over the phone. * Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. * Experience with POS systems is an advantage. * Ability to supervise others and work collaboratively within a team environment. * A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about products and sales techniques.
