Job Description: Overhead Door Company has been the industry leader for over 100 years. Our Charleston ribbon is seeking a Sales Representative with at least 2 years experience in the construction or garage door industry. Salary is based on experience--Commissions separate. Responsibilities: * Prepare estimates for new jobs, job changes, additional work scope, and ensure estimates are submitted on time. * Follow processes to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism. * Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential customers. * Review order confirmations to ensure correct products have been entered and shipping dates are accurate. * Work alongside the operations and scheduling departments. * Communicate clearly. * Keep a positive attitude in all circumstances. * Maintain records of all estimates. * Act as a liaison between customers and co-workers. Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements: 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred. Ideal candidate will be technical/mechanical in nature and will have sales experience in the construction or garage door industry. Ability to calculate amounts such as margin, mark up, discounts, etc.... Strong attention to detail. Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability. Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Willingness to learn products, systems and processes.
