Sales Associate - Chocolate & Wine Boutique Location: Petrova Chocolates, North End , Boston, MA Job Type: Part-time | Flexible schedule | Year-round As our business grows, we seek passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to our artisanal chocolate production, connecting with our guests, and continue growing as an established Boston brand. With the upcoming opening of our second chocolate boutique on 61 Salem street, right in the heart of the iconic North End, we are seeking to grow our team and are currently hiring for the below positions. What We Offer: Flexible schedule Major holidays are off $18 - $20 (depending on experience) + TIPS Potential to transition into full-time Paid chocolate and wine training Employee discounts Responsibilities: Greet and assist guests in a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable manner Guide customers through our curated chocolate and wine selections, offering detailed product information and pairing suggestions Handle all sales transactions accurately through our POS system Gift wrap purchases with attention to detail and presentation Restock shelves and displays to ensure products are always available and attractively presented Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment. Learn and stay up-to-date on our chocolate collections, wine selections, and any seasonal offerings. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing new stock. Support the team during in-store events, tastings, and promotions. Uphold our brand standards by delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Requirements: 18+ years of age Permitted to legally work in the US Retail or Front of House experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong time and task management skills Organized, attention to detail *Ability to stand for extended periods, move and lift boxes up to 50lb * Outgoing and friendly personality Passionate about chocolate and natural wine Basic POS and cash handling skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 14 - 18 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 4 hour shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Work Location: In person
