If you're craving a role that offers challenges, growth, and meaningful impact, then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. * Job Overview: We are actively searching for an innovative and motivated Business Development Manager / Director, DP&C (Discovery, Preclinical & CMC). This role involves managing and cultivating business relationships, representing Pharmaron as the preferred CRO for prospective clients, and actively promoting our capabilities. The role will be to generate and maintain profitable business relations with partners. Promote Pharmaron as the CRO of choice to prospective clients with fully integrated services. Manage and enhance on-going business relationships. Business Development is a significant role within our organization. You will regularly communicate with scientific leaders within our target customers. You must have experience and understand the requirements and challenges of drug discovery and development. Responsibilities: * Achieve agreed-upon sales and profit targets, driving business growth and profitability. * Cultivate, manage, and maintain professional relationships with clients, with particular emphasis on their senior management teams. * Stay informed about Pharmaron's capabilities and services to engage in informed discussions with clients and prospective clients about our offerings. * Work closely with Pharmaron scientists to ensure that client expectations are realistic and achievable, thus ensuring customer satisfaction. * Identify cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with other Business Development team members, capturing new areas for business growth. * Contribute to the development of a compelling Value Proposition, making Pharmaron an attractive choice for clients. * Represent the company professionally, promoting Pharmaron as a reliable partner capable of delivering high-quality solutions, converting inquiries into profitable contracts. * Collaborate with Pharmaron scientists to formulate business proposals and presentations, ensuring that these proposals can be converted into profitable commercial contracts. * Identify and utilize sources of information that provide insightful market intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry, sharing this information internally to support strategic decision making. * Support and mentor the broader Business Development team through contribution on special projects as and when required. * What We're Looking For: * A Master's degree in Chemistry or related field from a reputable university (PhD strongly preferred). * A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in a scientific lab environment within the industry. * Essential knowledge and experience in Drug Discovery/Development. * Business Development experience within the CRO industry is an advantage. * A deep understanding of the CRO and Pharmaceutical market and environment would be an advantage. * Excellent commercial acumen, presentation skills, and business analytical abilities. * Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and relationship management skills. * Highly organized, solution-oriented, and resilient with a strategic mindset. * Why Pharmaron?
