Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team in Residential Glass. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting with their purchasing needs. Your ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate product knowledge will be essential in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. * Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and drive sales. * Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system. * Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing and discounts. * Manage customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining a positive retail experience. * Uphold excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer service. * Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) required. Requirements * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. * Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. * Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and product measurement. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A friendly demeanor with a passion for selling products and providing outstanding service.
