National Strap Sales Representative East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc., the leading supplier of auto transport, is seeking an energetic seasoned salesperson to introduce our product line of automotive cargo tie-down straps to the auto transport industry! This is a business development opportunity with big earning potential with opportunity to travel nationwide to build relationships with auto transport industry leaders. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers while nurturing relationships with existing ones. You will plan your routes to visit customers nationwide to establish bulk sales accounts for automotive securement straps, height sticks, safety apparel, and roadside safety equipment assembled in the USA. You will maximize sales opportunities by recommending complementary items from our extensive inventory that align with your customers' business needs. Throughout, you will maintain strong account management and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires frequent travel. Qualifications * Proven experience in account management and sales, with a strong emphasis on B2B sales. * Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships. * Proficient in negotiation and business development strategies. * Strong analytical skills and experience with warm calling to generate leads and drive sales growth. Position Responsibilities and Requirements: * At least 2 years of experience in sales. Experience in Auto Transport car hauling is a plus. * Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and soliciting new accounts. * Build sales plans and handle time effectively. * Assists in the development of creative marketing materials to promote the product lines. * Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. * Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. * Submits orders on behalf of customers to the Manufacturing department. * Ability to consistently meet/exceed sales quotas. * Success will be measured for attainment of weekly sales activity, including metrics for phone calls, emails, meetings, and of course, wins. * Strong communication skills, open to training, and desire to succeed. * This position does require 75% travel throughout the year. Skills: * Competitive, personable, and open to feedback. * Excellent communication skills (oral and written) * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. * Ability to build rapport with customers of a large demographic. * We work with and around heavy equipment, so we are a drug-free workplace (including THC).
