Hello! We are looking for reliable sales staff to help out during various events this summer and fall. Joycoast is a Chicago-based company that makes wooden accessories and plants 10 trees for every product we sell. We have fun with our customers and help them find the perfect pair of sunglasses, watch, or ring for them. If you like to travel we also participate in many events and trade shows across the country. If you'd rather just stick with events in Chicago - that is okay too! For out of state events we also offer competitive pay, lodging, and you receive a per diem for food. We are selling unique, cool, eco-friendly products and help people find sunglasses, a watch, or ring that fits them best. We don't have any pushy sales tactics, or have to "hawk" to bring people in. We have fun! What you'll be doing: --Assist with booth set up and tear down. -- Sell products direct to consumer during various retail locations such as trade shows, events, craft fairs, etc. -- Take payments via cash and credit card. Money handling knowledge and ability for simple math is a must. --Engage with customers to help inform them and help find the perfect wooden accessory, ask open ended questions to determine the customer's needs and make the sale --Maintain clean work station & cleaning products --Maintain inventory count of products The ideal candidate is reliable, honest, friendly, happy, outgoing, enjoys talking with people, and is motivated to sell.
