F.W. Webb, Northeast's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Thermoplastic Sales Specialist for its Piscataway, NJ location. Responsibilities : * Collaborating with Webb GM's, Outside Sales, and Webb Corporate to establish and execute thermoplastic sales goals for the region, for all facets of plastics including Polypropylene, HDPE, as well as other engineered plastics systems. * Supports local branch efforts with Thermoplastic customers through organized training, joint calls, inventory reviews, monitoring market pricing, marketing, promotions, brand awareness and managing relevant vendor relationships. * Achieve year over year sales growth in the Plastics category, AKA "L" products. * Reviews market and product trends relative to the Industrial and Mechanical markets to identify sales opportunities or program improvements. * Develop strong manufacturer and customer relationships to ensure growth in the Plastics/Industrial category * Launching new products & services in the market through our counters, outside sales teams, inside sales teams, etc. * Assisting/Coaching sales personnel in their techniques and follow-up to improve results. Integral in developing systems to improve efficiencies for inside/outside sales people in regards to plastics. * Working with under-performing locations to identify problems and developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term * Educating sales teams via presentations of strategies, seminars, trainings, and regular meetings * Establishing strong relationships with manufacturers, rep firms, and key customers throughout the region. * Ability to create lead generation for new opportunities across all markets where Thermoplastics is a potential solution. * Works with other Divisions within F.W. Webb to identify cross-selling opportunities * Planning and executing contractor and engineer trainings, trade-shows, factory visits focused on the education, exposure, and advancement of thermoplastics to all available markets, in line with the goals of multiple F.W. Webb divisions Qualifications : * Great communication skills * Strong Organizational skills * 7 years of sales and/or sales management experience * Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, and occasionally outside the territory as required * Heavy focus on all aspects of Thermoplastics including, Polyproylene, HDPE, as well as other engineered plastics systems. * Strong Knowledge of different processes in facilities and possesses the ability to identify opportunities where Thermoplastics are a solution * Clear and Convincing Presentation Capabilities * High regard for customer service * Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. * Position requires work with various types of fusion equipment, some heavy lifting required * Experience working with or on tools or machinery is preferred, but not required. Training and Certifications will be provided * Position will require access to various types of facilities and jobsite situations. Candidate should be aware of and prepared for any customer access requirements.
