Showroom Sales Associate - Weekend to Full-Time Role Location: Chicago, IL Company: Comfy Living Chicago Comfy Living Chicago, a locally owned furniture store specializing in both new and refurbished couches, is looking for a Showroom Sales Associate to join our team! This position will start as a weekend sales role and transition into a full-time position within a few weeks. What We 're Looking For: We need a friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused individual who enjoys helping people find the perfect furniture for their home. Although having experience in the furniture industry is a plus, no prior furniture knowledge is required--just a great attitude and a willingness to learn! Job Responsibilities: * Greet customers and provide a welcoming showroom experience * Assist customers in finding the right furniture based on their needs and preferences * Explain product features, pricing, and financing options * Work closely with the team to maintain a clean and organized showroom * Follow up with potential customers to encourage purchases * Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records What You 'll Get: * Part base pay + commission structure, offering strong earning potential * Hands-on training in furniture sales and customer service * A fun and dynamic work environment with a growing, local business Qualifications: * Excellent people skills - we need someone friendly and engaging! * Ability to work weekends and transition into a full-time role within a few weeks * Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required * Basic computer skills for processing transactions * Interest in furniture is great, but we're happy to teach you!
