Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles and heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to read schematics. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Duties * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to identify mechanical issues. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. * Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Communicate effectively with Manager regarding repair needs and timelines. * Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or on-site. Requirements * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. * Physical capability to perform heavy lifting * Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. * A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications in mechanics are a plus. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
