Area Sales & Operations Director Location: Based in New York City, NY | Local & Regional Travel Required Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Travel Reimbursement Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000/year (based on experience) Build High-Performing Teams. Grow Markets. Lead Boldly. A fast-growing beauty, wellness, and service brand is seeking a Area Sales & Operations Director to oversee center success in the New York City metro area. This role is designed for an experienced, driven, and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment where sales performance, operational excellence, and leadership development are non-negotiable. We're looking for a results-driven leader who can coach, inspire, and hold teams accountable, while executing strategies that drive regional sales growth and operational excellence-- someone who can train sales teams, drive KPIs, optimize operations, and lead multiple markets to success. What You'll Do * Lead a portfolio of centers across NYC, ensuring operational excellence and sales growth * Hire, coach, and mentor Center Directors and Assistant Managers * Train field leaders on daily sales behaviors, membership conversions, and retail sales * Develop and execute regional sales initiatives, service standards, and guest experience strategies * Conduct frequent center visits, team workshops, operational audits, and field coaching * Oversee compliance with labor laws, sanitation standards, and brand guidelines * Analyze performance data and lead monthly regional reviews * Manage regional staffing, leadership pipelines, and talent development plans * Travel regularly between boroughs and neighboring regions (approx. 50% local travel) What You Bring * 7+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in beauty, wellness, fitness, spa, retail, or hospitality * Strong background in sales leadership, operations management, and guest experience delivery * Expertise in training, motivating, and holding teams accountable to high standards * Hands-on approach to leadership -- you're visible, vocal, and action-oriented * Deep understanding of KPIs, P&L management, and center-level business performance * Ability to thrive in an urban, fast-moving, diverse market like New York City * High emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability to rapid change * Bachelor's degree preferred but not required * Must be based in NYC or willing to relocate Salary & Benefits We reward results and leadership excellence: * Competitive Base Salary: $100,000-$115,000/year * Performance-Based Bonus Plan * Travel Reimbursement (local and regional) * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Parental Leave * Company-Paid Life and Disability Insurance * Discounted Services & Retail Products Why Join Us?
