Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential apartment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management. This role requires effective communication, conflict management, and the ability to enhance tenant satisfaction while maintaining the property's integrity. Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, light maintenance, and tenant relations, and work orders. * Utilize Appfolio for tracking maintenance requests. * Conduct property tours and upsell available units to prospective tenants. Hold Open Houses and showings. Once prospective tenant applies, will review and verify all applicant items * Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner. * Maintain accurate files for each tenant, including lease agreements and correspondence. * Oversee facilities management to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets safety standards. Clean property during work hours. Clean laundry room, pick up trash, sweep and mop indoor common area, sweep walkways, dust where needed, water plants in courtyard, etc * Compliance with company policies. * Coordinate with office staff to ensure timely resolution of repair requests. * Prepare regular reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and tenant feedback. Requirements * Proven experience in apartment management or a related field is preferred. * Strong knowledge of office procedures and phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants, office staff, and vendors. * Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. * Proficient in using property management software, Appfolio or similar * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining tenant files and records. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing tenant satisfaction. * must live on- site in provided apartment Compensation * discount on apartment (1/3rd off rent) * up to 20 hours a week pay Join our team as an Onsite Apartment Manager where you will play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming community environment while ensuring efficient property operations!
