Overview Seniors Helping Seniors is a rapidly growing Homemaker Companion Agency. We are built on the belief that seniors can help one another age with independence, grace, and dignity from wherever they call home. We are seeking a Head of Business Development Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth through strategic planning and effective sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of contacts within the senior care industry in Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven counties. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources including senior centers, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, elder law attorneys, home health agencies, and other community organizations. * Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and networking events within the senior care, healthcare, and community service sectors. * Represent Seniors Helping Seniors at health fairs, community events, and professional association meetings. * Conduct frequent outreach visits, presentations, and informational sessions to promote the Seniors Helping Seniors mission and services. * Collaborate with the agency's leadership team to develop local marketing strategies and campaigns. * Uphold the Seniors Helping Seniors (or "agency's") brand values of compassion, trust, and respect in all external interactions. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and leveraging existing contacts. * Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Wellsky and Zoho, to track sales activities and manage client interactions. * Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth. * Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, showcasing our products and services. * Participate in strategic planning sessions to align business development efforts with overall company goals. Qualifications * Strong relationship-building abilities and a genuine passion for serving the senior community. * Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. * Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a field-based role. * Comfortable giving presentations and speaking to small or large groups. * Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield Counties during regular business hours * Proven experience in business development or sales in the senior care, non-profit or related industry. * Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
