In this rewarding position, you'll match prospective residents with a rental home that fits their needs and lifestyle, while leveraging your excellent communication skills to convey details and clarification as they navigate the process from start to finish. Leasing Agents perform many organizational tasks to help potential tenants find their new home that meets their needs and best promotes the business. Their duties and responsibilities often include: * Generate leads through Craigslist and other platforms * Weekly updates to websites and online listings * Manage the apartment leasing process from start to finish; receive/respond to prospect phone calls and emails, provide available unit information, tour prospects, take and process applicant information * Print lease and do lease signing with tenant * Test and release keys * Walk unit prior to move-in to ensure all maintenance and cleaning are complete * Answer any questions from tenants after move-in * Submit move-in packet directly to Accounting * Attend local and neighborhood events * Create and maintain relationships with local realtors, businesses, universities, and neighborhood associations * Work closely with property management to develop service needs for the portfolio * Conduct and complete Quarterly Market Surveys * Promote resident retention programs * Maintain courteous communication with residents, prospects, and broker. * Maintain work areas/offices in a clean and orderly manner * Assists in other related tasks as assigned This Role Requires Saturdays Pay: $17 - $19 an hour plus $250 per lease commission Potential earnings salary range: $55,000 + Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Schedule: * Day shift * Every weekend Ability to Commute: * New Haven, CT 06510 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * New Haven, CT 06510: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
