Leasing Agent Bilingual Leasing Consultant or Leasing Agent must have Affordable Housing experience preferably with Tax Credit properties. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Pay Rates: Depending on experience will range between $22-$25 Schedule is to be determined but most likely M-F 8a-5:00p 40 hours! Perfect attendance is a must. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. A leasing consultant is the primary ambassador between the public, the residents of the apartment community and community management. This individual is responsible for providing exceptional service to community residents, future residents and internal team members. They must provide the community with value and quality by assessing the needs of their client. RESPONSIBILITIES Top notch customer service is a must ! Dress to impress ! Business professional attire is required Process and Review applications for new rental Prepare lease paperwork for Move -Ins Review existing leases Conduct tours of available apartments Process requests by tenants and maintenance staff Assist in coordinating resident activities QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with YARDI Experience with Rent Control Properties (Tax Credit, Affordable Housing) is required! Excellent sales and customer service skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; Highly detail- oriented Proficient on Microsoft Word and Excel Strong customer service focus for both internal and external customers Must have or be willing to take CA Fair Housing Act training course and obtain a certification of completion with passing score 80% or higher.
