Position Overview: We are seeking a driven and customer focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering solutions, and helping customers feel confident in their comfort decisions. As the face of Dutchman in the field, you will meet with homeowners to assess their HVAC needs, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and guide them through the sales process with transparency and care. You'll be responsible for managing your own sales pipeline from initial contact through follow-up and close, ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout. Key Responsibilities: * Meet and exceed sales goals with entrepreneurial flair. * Stay informed on cutting-edge HVAC products and promotions. * Resolve consumer inquiries professionally and efficiently. * Conduct in-home consultations with customers and recommend solutions. Other Duties: * Discuss financing options * Gather details to facilitate installation (notes, drawings, photos, etc.) * Educate customers on products, services, and the installation process * Manage schedule to ensure timely appointments and effective follow-up communication * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and outcomes * Collaborate with installation teams and office to ensure a smooth transition from sales through installation * Stay current on available financing options, energy rebates, tax credits, and manufacturer promotions to provide customers with accurate information and maximize savings opportunities * Represent Dutchman in a professional, respectful, and trustworthy manner Qualifications: * Minimum of 5+ years in consultative or retail sales. * Skill in CRM tools, proposal software, and basic office software * Proven ability to work independently and stay motivated * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. * Comfortable working in customer's home or business * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle pipeline from initial contact to close, with an emphasis on follow-up and customer relationship-building * Previous experience in HVAC, home services, or in-home sales is a plus * Valid driver's license - must be insurable What We Offer: * Comprehensive benefits package, including Simple IRA with matching, health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off. * A company culture that prioritizes growth, diversity, and employee well-being. * Opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement. * Company-provided vehicle with full logo wrap for business use Work Details: Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 -5:00, with occasional flexibility for evening or weekend appointments to accommodate customers Salary Range: $100,000 - $250,000 Commissions : uncapped Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan Compensation Package: * Uncapped commission Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
