DEPARTMENT: Wholesale REPORT TO: Vice President of National Sales Title: Sales Support Representative - Immediate opening Description: The Sales Support position at Vosges Haut-Chocolat provides a positive, consultative, concierge-style guest experience, from order placement to order fulfillment to any necessary post-order troubleshooting. They support our wholesale and private label clients through phone and written correspondence, working closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless execution. The Sales Support position primarily supports our Wholesale, private label, and independent specialty retailer orders. Principle Responsibilities: * Answer all inbound communication via phone, email, or wholesale portals. * Tag and categorize all communications to help collect data insights and keep communications clean. * Build relationships for long-lasting partnerships and to encourage repeat sales. * Enter and process orders to ensure timely fulfillment and shipping. * Maintain order tracking and PO status updates for financial reporting. * Portal maintenance and auditing to ensure listings are accurate and current. * Execution of new client, product set-up, and New Item Form paperwork. * Create and maintain client databases and marketing lists. * Provide above-and-beyond client experience through: * Proactive outreach to top customers. * Proactive follow-up and re-order prompts. * New product notifications and launches. * Sample order processing. * Deductions management. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to offer support and coverage as the business needs dictate. * Offer support for trade shows, wholesale events, and tasting experiences. * All other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Prior experience in customer service, preferably in food and beverage or hospitality. * Excellent communication skills. Both oral and written, with the ability to adjust your tone/message to the situation. * Attention to detail. * Positive "can do" attitude and collaborative nature. * Excellent follow-through. * Self-starter who can solve problems and run with little information to complete a task or solve an issue. * Must be able to travel or work an occasional weekend for trade shows. (2-3 times a year, subject to change). Helpful: * Conversational Spanish * Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Intermediate experience with PowerPoint * Experience with Help Scout, HubSpot, or other CRM and Helpdesk software.
