The Sales Manager, North America will spearhead Scanico's sales initiatives, establishing and expanding our footprint within the North American market. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in industrial freezing and chilling systems and make a significant impact in a rapidly growing market. You will play a critical role in driving growth by building relationships with new customers, expanding business with existing clients, and contributing to the development and execution of our regional sales strategy. You will collaborate closely with our dedicated sales office in Denmark and the Sales Manager based in Mexico City to achieve ambitious goals in a highly competitive market, positioning Scanico as a top choice for innovative, high- quality freezing solutions. Responsibilities: * Contribute to the development and implementation of a North American sales strategy within six months. * Develop and manage a sales budget, including KPIs and milestones, in partnership with the Sales Director. * Plan and manage daily tasks to achieve sales targets. * Drive sales with new customers (80%) while expanding relationships with existing clients (20%). * Manage end-to-end customer interaction, including contract negotiations and securing detailed product data for quotations. * Achieve annual revenue targets of $6-9 million, contributing to Scanico's overall turnover of $45 million. * Identify and cultivate new leads through networking, including leveraging connections within Middleby Corporation. * Represent Scanico at industry events and meetings to generate interest and build relationships. * Work with the engineering team to ensure smooth handoffs after order transfer. * Align efforts with Middleby sister companies to maximize market opportunities. * Other Duties as assigned * _Scanico is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants._ Benefits: * Health insurance * Health Savings Account w/ ER contribution * Flexible Spending Account w/ ER contribution * Dental Insurance * Company Paid Disability Insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Company Paid Life insurance * Paid holidays * Paid time off * 401k * Vision insurance Requirements: * Proven track record in industrial sales, ideally in processing equipment or freezers. * Understanding of the food and process industry, including factory operations and decision-making processes. * Experience with project-based sales involving complex technical solutions. * Demonstrated success in building relationships and driving revenue in North America, with possible experience in South America. * Willingness to travel extensively to meet customers and attend industry events. * Strong technical insight, with freezer sales experience or familiarity preferred. * Confident in navigating long sales cycles (6-8 months on average) and closing high-value deals ($800K-$10M).
