The Lodge (The Mental Health Recovery Lodge of Northampton County) is a supportive housing and recovery program for adults with mental illness in Northampton County. First payment is paid after 90 days, Second payment is paid after 180 days._ Position Summary The Lead Tenant Services Coordinator is an integral position and is primarily responsible for the overall management of housing and supportive services. The Lead TSC will oversee communication and coordination with a variety of stakeholders to maintain housing for the individuals served. The Lead TSC is responsible for supervising the Tenant Service Coordinators and reviewing the quality of their work. The Lead TSC will also oversee the TSC meetings, TSC data collection, and reporting data and outcomes to external stakeholders. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed. * Essential Duties and Functions Quality Assurance * Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms for information as required by internal and external stakeholders. * Oversee Quality Assurance of Lodge services, including quality and standards of living within Lodge units. * Review data collection for accuracy and reporting to funders. * Develop expert knowledge of leasing requirements for all PSH units; HUD Section 8 and other housing regulations; the landlord/tenant laws, and Fair Housing issues. Operational/Administrative Management * Attend all required RHD meetings and perform other office activities as assigned. * Serve as a liaison with Northampton County Mental Health and external providers. * Serve as a liaison and respond to all requests for the tenant and their property manager. * Communicate with the staff regarding concurrent review, level of care, and relevant changes/amendments. * Maintain proactive communication with all assigned property managers. * Identify and respond to issues and concerns of property managers. * Provide pre-tenancy assessment services to individuals. * During the intake phase ensure individuals understand program requirements and responsibilities of the participant. * Provide housing stabilization services focusing on helping each person remain in services through regular contact to assure safety and welfare and monitor the condition of the apartment. * Provide support for invoice processing, cash reimbursements & rental payments. * Provide additional support for Lodge Vocational Training program and Independent Housing programs as needed and assigned. Direct Support * Actively participate in service coordination planning meetings. * Report abuse and/or neglect immediately to the Director and the proper authorities. * Report suicidal, homicidal, and/or gravely disabled status to a supervisor immediately. * Provide backup for external case management team members. * Provide support for crisis response as needed. * Help each person to access and maintain benefits. * Make service referrals and coordinate services with other providers to avoid duplication. * Advocate on the participant's behalf with landlords, service providers, and others in the community with whom the individual has contact. * Assist participant in meeting tenant obligations for timely rent payments and apartment maintenance. * Maintain regular contact with each landlord to monitor the participant's tenancy and respond to issues or complaints from the landlord before they become crisis. * Maintain program records. * Ensure clients have access to and utilize the after-hours on-call staff for emergencies or after-hours support. Staff Supervision and Oversight * Supervise, Coach and Train (internal) Case Management and Certified Peer Specialist team * Attend and facilitate supervisions. * Participate in the monthly Team meeting * Manage Caseload assignments for other team members * Acquire, demonstrate, and train staff and individuals in "best practice" housing knowledge for all eligible populations. * Qualifications * Minimum Bachelors degree in human services field including social work, psychology or related field from an accredited institution. * Two years of experience in the effective provision of direct or supervisory services related to housing or case management for individuals in mental health recovery. * Three years of experience working with mental health consumers. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Experience in entering data and using Electronic Health Record. * Valid driver's license * State police clearance * Child abuse clearance * FBI clearance Requirements: Physical requirements The Lead Tenant Services Coordinator will need to be able to be mobile to travel to participant apartments and have physical capability to do this. Walking and the ability to carry a laptop or other mobile devices, books, binders or other work items may be needed while traveling in the community. _ Lifting Requirements_ * Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to left, carry, push, pull or move objects (including self). Most work involves sitting majority of the time. * Reporting Relationships This role will report to the Assistant Program Director.
