Summary The CL Leasing Sales Representative is responsible for lead generation leasing modular classrooms, restrooms, and other educational facilities throughout their assigned territory, as well as other construction-related activities-- the primary goal is to increase the customer market share with leased equipment. This role involves prospecting for potential clients through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and facility planning meetings, specifically with public school districts, community colleges, and architects in California. Essential Responsibilities * Actively pursue all educational accounts in your assigned territory; public school districts, community colleges, and charter schools * Request to be added to vendor lists and pre-qualify listing Class Leasing as an approved vendor * Make all mandatory job walks so we don't miss any formal bidding opportunities and find opportunities * Bid forms and pre-qualifications are the responsibility of the Leasing Sales Representative * Attend the county facilities planner's meeting for your territory monthly and report back with the latest updates * Attend annual trade shows * Attend public bid openings and report back competitor bid numbers * Generate proposals for standard lease refurbished and new classrooms outlining terms and pricing by first understanding the prospects' needs. Ask questions, know your customer * Provide all cost / charge matrix with proposal for review for proposal approval. This includes refurbished leases and validating the net book value in determining the lease factor (.02 +) * Relationship building with existing and new customers for future business, renewal contracts, purchase off-rents * Coordinate with the operations team and project manager to schedule delivery and installations to ensure we meet our commitment to the customer. * Weekly activities: phone calls, site visits, office meetings, lunch meetings, follow-up/prospecting.
