Banato has no dairy or added sugar - it is just fruit! Not only that, but it is gluten-free, soy- free, and peanut free. Founded as a festival popsicle stand in 2019, Banato has expanded to farmers markets, catering, events such as NASCAR/Lollapalooza/Taste of Chicago, and soon to a local grocer near you. This year, Banato's expansion will require an amazing team starting in May to spread Banato across the Chicago area. Position: Part-Time Team Member Location: Multiple Market and Pop-up Locations across Chicago (including, but not limited to: Logan Square, Grant/Millenium Park, Ukrainian Village) Pay: $15 per hour + tips (Yes, you read that right!) Expected Start Date: May 2025 Work Hour expectation: 8-10 hours per week mostly Sundays with some Saturdays and weekday night meetings Why Work With Us? The Responsibilities: As part of our in-person sales team, you'll be responsible for these key duties and tasks: Customer Interactions - Connect with customers at farmers markets and popup locations to ensure they have a positive experience. Branding & Marketing - Engage and educate people about Banato's product and vision. Point of Sale and product care - Handle the transactions at Banato for purchases and provide each Banato product with care to our customers with enthusiasm. Leadership - Lead the team on-site in safety of customers, team members, product as well as in maintaining product and customer relations. This also includes assisting in setup and teardown of Banato field equipment when selling at pop-up locations or farmers markets. Networking and Strategizing - Join strategy calls to be a part of the decisions involved in a business and build connections with the Banato team and network with fellow vendors at markets.
