Our GEICO LOCAL OFFICE in Chicago is looking for a high-performing Bilingual Team Leader. The Team Leader will play a key role in developing and supporting a team of Insurance Sales/Retention Agents, will be responsible for maximizing our Team potential to achieve growth monthly targets while delivering an extraordinary guest experience. Key Goals: * Build, grow, strengthen, and support our Agency Team to exceed our quality standards and revenue growth targets. * Supervise the day-to-day functions to guide and support individual and group performance to achieve sales/retention goals. * Develop a plan to achieve our customer acquisition metrics and sales goals that will be executed synergically by the Team. Key Activities: * Achieve quality growth by successfully managing the Sales and Retention teams. * Analyze KPI's to drive and elevate individual and team performance based on Agency goals. * Deliver effective sales coaching with a strong focus on improving behaviors to achieve conversion targets and goals. * Monitor the performance of sales and proactively identify areas of opportunities. * Development of Agents through motivation, counseling, mentoring and continued product knowledge education/training. * Hold Agents accountable for sales performance standards by administering performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and performance appraisals timely. * Effectively communicate information regarding new policies and promotions and ensure Agents fully understand and are competent in the processes. * Lead by example while embracing and promoting our organization's growing and competitive culture with enthusiasm, empathy, and leadership. Required Qualifications: * Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and people management skills. * Effective communication and organizational skills. * Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing direct reports in a sales role * Minimum 2 years' sales experience with a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales goals. * Strong analytical skills to identify sales and KPI trends and patterns in a dynamic work environment. * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences. * Strong business sense and insurance industry expertise * Bilingual Spanish preferred. * Sales insurance experience necessary. * P&C insurance license necessary. THIS POSITION IS WITH AN INDEPENDENT AGENCY, GEICO EXCLUSIVE LOCAL OFFICE.
