Job Title: Client Solutions Director Location: Remote (with travel up to 60%) Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive base salary and benefits plus eligibility to participate in a performance-based commission plan About the Role: FHI Clinical is seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Solutions Director to lead sales efforts for Phases I-III clinical trials, with a strong focus on oncology. This is a performance-based role that offers a competitive salary and eligibility to participate in a commission plan. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in oncology, infectious disease, and vaccine development clinical research, and a proven ability to cultivate strategic client relationships while driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: * Meet or exceed sales targets by generating and closing new business opportunities in an assigned territory. * Drive client engagement through compelling presentations, proposal development (RFPs), and bid defenses. * Effectively communicate the scientific and operational value of FHI Clinical's services to prospective clients. * Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic stakeholders. * Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support the proposal process and ensure seamless execution. * Maintain detailed sales activity records within Salesforce and other internal systems. * Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and client feedback to refine sales strategies. * Represent FHI Clinical at industry conferences and symposia, supporting broader marketing efforts. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor 's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) is preferred. * 3 -5+ years of experience in clinical research or life sciences sales, with a strong emphasis on oncology clinical trials. * Demonstrated success in sales and business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO sectors. * Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the client voice internally. * Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce and other relevant business software.
