Six Star Properties is looking to hire a Leasing Consultant for a 467-unit apartment property in San Luis Obispo, CA. The company is looking for one full-time and one part-time employee. Position Summary: As a Leasing Consultant, you represent our community quality and give our customers exceptional service. You must successfully lease apartments by discovering and exceeding the customers' expectations. In addition, you are expected to assist in the building's marketing and advertising to generate traffic. Furthermore, you are expected to demonstrate a strong leasing performance by consistently meeting weekly leasing expectations and goals. Responsibilities: * Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and ensuring a smooth move-in. * Greet clients, assess needs, answer questions, and provide tours of the apartments and community. * Process applications and prepare and review lease agreements and renewals. * Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, including providing leasing information, making appointments, and creating and following up with maintenance requests. * Consistently communicates with active prospects. * Evaluate customer needs while communicating relevant benefits. * Assist Property Manager with completing weekly leasing reports. * Receive deposits and rent money and record appropriately. * Assist Property Manager in the resident renewal process * Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients with a positive and friendly tone. Skills * Proven working experience as a leasing consultant * Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations * Proven track record of successful sales * Basic understanding of MS Office * Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills * Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques * Customer-focused approach * Property Management software ( Appfolio) - preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
