Job Responsibilities As a retail sales associate, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers to provide a positive shopping experience. Your key responsibilities will include: * Welcoming customers with a friendly demeanor, offering product information, and assisting them in finding the right product and service for them. * Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience, drive sales and metrics. * Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product areas meet merchandising standards. * Answering customer inquiries regarding products, and services, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses to enhance satisfaction. * Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, handling returns, and managing customer transactions efficiently and accurately. * Assisting in inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or product discrepancies to management. * Supporting loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security policies. * Collaborating with fellow team members to achieve sales targets, metrics, meet store goals, and contribute to a positive team environment. * Reporting to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards. Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Must-have: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. * Basic math skills for handling cash and managing sales transactions accurately. Success Criteria To excel in this role, as a retail sales associate we expect you to: * Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team's overall sales performance. * Deliver outstanding customer service, as measured by positive customer feedback and a satisfaction rating of 90% or higher. * Maintain a consistently high level of product knowledge, actively engaging in training opportunities. * Demonstrate initiative in keeping the sales floor organized, addressing customer needs, and supporting team members. * Exhibit reliability and punctuality, consistently adhering to scheduled shifts and availability. Compensation Hourly salary range: $17.50 - $18.25 with potential bi-weekly commission based on individual and store performance.
