Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Sales associate to join our team at our King Street location. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exception customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the store's visual appearance. You will assist customer throughout their shopping journey, provde product knowledge, and help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the mission of Ibu Movement. Key Responsibilities * Availability to work store hours (store hours Mon-Fri 1-5pm, Sat 11am-5pm) * Sales: Actively engage customers, speak to Ibu's mission, sharing products and artisans knowledge, helping customers to make informed decisions * Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with enthusiasm, providing excellent service throughout their shopping experience and post-sales inquiries * Point-of- Sales Operations: Process purchases and returns accurately using the POS system. Maintain the store clean and organized * Inventory Management : Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and assist with organizing merchandise * Visual Merchandising : Help maintain the store's visual appearance by arranging display and ensuring products are presented according to guidelines * Availability to travel to trunk shows * Support the online store Requirements * Proven experience in retail sales or customer service * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Team collaboration and work closely with other team members * Experience in working with Shopify, preferably This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women artisans globally.
