Boat Sales If you love boats as much as we do, this job maybe for you!! We are in search of a positive, enthusiastic, and outgoing person with empathy and preferably with sales and boating experience to add to our team. We are a 3rd generation family owned and operated premier boat dealership that pride's itself on superior service & customer experience. Key Work Priorities: - Consistently achieve both new and repeat sales. - Maintain active customer and prospect files and takes successful follow-up with them. - Continually improves your own product & customer knowledge. - Implements a daily process for improving their selling practices and results. - Demonstrates a strong effort at making use of new selling techniques and practices adopted by the company, and thereafter keeps management informed about it's success. - Helps the company define market trends and the product mix needed for successful inventory stocking. Responsibilities: - Acquaints themselves with our company's & each manufacturer's organization and its history. - Develops a detailed knowledge of the product line and the features and benefits of each product. - Informs yourself and asks about the market structure as it pertains to the penetration, competition and price class, especially about the buyer profile. - Becomes thoroughly familiar with the specifications of competitive boats and master all positive ways, comparing the manufacturer's product with them. - Follows dealership sales, service and parts policies in all activities. - Attends sales meetings webinars and seminars. - Presents to the Sales Manager completed and acceptable sales contracts with regards to boats sold, accessories, sales price, trade-in, finance and insurance terms and delivery time frame. Applies fundamentals of selling as listed: - Determines from each buyer the needs and ability to purchase a boat. - Assists customer in formulating the buying decision. - Follows up with existing customers. - Maintains a prospect development system. - Adheres to existing sales administrative guidelines. - Follows in detail the professional approach of the "selling cycle", especially the dealer's policies pertaining to: 1- Prospecting 2- Qualifying 3- Presenting 4- Demonstrating 5- Selling the appraisal 6- Closing 7- Delivering 8- Following-up - Follows instruction, advice and support of the Sales Manager with a positive attitude and asks for support when needed. - To always display a positive attitude towards the company, customers and product. - To strive to enhance inter-department relationships. - To maintain appropriate appearance as per company policy.
