Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for effectively assisting in the management and coordination of leasing activities, assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Your exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of property management will contribute to the overall success of our leasing operations. Duties: - Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner - Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters - Provide detailed information about rental properties, including floor plans, amenities, and lease terms - Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and employment information - Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately - Collect rental payments and deposits from tenants - Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally - Coordinate with property manager and maintenance team to confirm units are ready for move in - Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants - Collaborate with property maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues - Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor pricing to assist with setting rental rates Skills: - Strong customer relationship management skills - Knowledge of property management principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Exceptional customer service abilities - Ability to negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants - Proficiency in Appfolio or similar property management software - Understanding of facilities management processes Atlas emphasizes a team approach and fully expects every person to perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with fulfilling company objectives.
